10X PBS Buffer Recipe (Phosphate-Buffered Saline)
1X PBS (phosphate-buffered saline) buffer consists of:
- 137 mM NaCl
- 2.7 mM KCl
- 10 mM Na₂HPO₄
- 2 mM KH₂PO₄
To make 10X PBS buffer, dissolve the following reagents in 800 ml ultrapure water:

| NaCl | 80 g |
| KCl | 2 g |
| Na₂HPO₄ | 14.4 g |
| KH₂PO₄ | 2.72 g |
Adjust the pH of the PBS buffer solution to 7.4 with HCl. Bring the volume to 1 liter, then autoclave or sterilize by filtration.
