20X SSC Recipe
This SSC buffer recipe makes a total volume of 1 liter:

| NaCl | 175.3 g | 3 M | 150 mM |
| Sodium citrate (Na₃ citrate · 2H₂O) | 88.2 g | 300 mM | 15 mM |
Dissolve 175.3 g of NaCl and 88.2 g of sodium citrate in 800 ml water. Adjust the pH to 7.0 with a few drops of 14 N HCl. Adjust the volume to 1 liter with ultrapure water. Dispense into aliquots and sterilize by autoclaving.
